§ 2.4.260. Transfer of Duties of City Clerk to the Finance Director.

A.

The powers and duties imposed upon the City Clerk by Chapter 4, Part 2, Division 3, Title 4 of the Government Code of the State are hereby transferred to the Finance Director in accordance with Section 37209 of the Government Code.

B.

The financial and accounting powers and duties imposed upon the City Clerk by Sections 40802 through 40805 of the Government Code of the State are hereby transferred to the Finance Director, as authorized by Section 40805.5 of the Government Code.

C.

The Finance Director shall furnish a corporate surety bond to be approved by the Council in such sum as may be approved by the Council, and shall be conditioned on the faithful performance of the duties imposed on the Finance Director as herein prescribed.
